- Go to the Medication List section in the Advanced Progress Note screen.
- Press the Medication List link.
- In the screen displayed press the Add Medications" button to add medications to the patients history.
- The "Search Medication" screen will be opened to search for medication.
- Write the medication you want to add in the top bar of screen. (For example "Diabetes wonder drug").
- The following message will be displayed when system detects that searched medication is not in database: "The Medication 'diabetes wonder drug' was not found. Click button to add it as a custom drug. WARNING: ADDING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES IS NOT ALLOWED. To start over, simply search".
- Press the Add Drug button.
- Medication will be displayed in the bottom of screen in the Search Medication section.
- Note: The following fields will not be completed: Strength, Route, Form, since the same are obtained from the search only.
Press the Save button to add a medication to the Patient Medication History screen.
