There are several options for searching for drug reference information.


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Medication List link in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the drug, to which you want to search for reference.


  • Once selected, click on the More button located at the top of the screen and then select the Reference option.


  • The Drug Reference screen will be automatically displayed, with the information of the selected drug.


  • The user will be able to select the information in the language of his preference, either in English or Spanish.
  • The user can also select the Dosage Text option, which shows the appropriate dosage information according to the selected drug.


  • To calculate the drug dosage, according to the patient's selected criteria, select the Dosage Calculator tab.


  • Fill in the patient information at the top of the screen.
  • Once you have entered the information, press the Calculate button to calculate the correct dose for the patient.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located next to the Medications List text and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the drug, to which you want to search for reference.


  • Once selected, click on the More button located at the top of the screen and then select the Reference option.


  • The Drug Reference screen will be automatically displayed, with the information of the selected drug.


  • The user will be able to select the information in the language of his preference, either in English or Spanish.
  • The user can also select the Dosage Text option, which shows the appropriate dosage information according to the selected drug.


  • To calculate the drug dosage, according to the patient's selected criteria, select the Dosage Calculator tab.


  • Fill in the patient information at the top of the screen.
  • Once you have entered the information, press the Calculate button to calculate the correct dose for the patient.


Option #3

  • Press the Medication History button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button, located at the top left of the screen and select the Medication History option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the drug, to which you want to search for reference.


  • Once selected, click on the More button located at the top of the screen and then select the Reference option.


  • The Drug Reference screen will be automatically displayed, with the information of the selected drug.


  • The user will be able to select the information in the language of his preference, either in English or Spanish.
  • The user can also select the Dosage Text option, which shows the appropriate dosage information according to the selected drug.


  • To calculate the drug dosage, according to the patient's selected criteria, select the Dosage Calculator tab.


  • Fill in the patient information at the top of the screen.
  • Once you have entered the information, press the Calculate button to calculate the correct dose for the patient.
