Description 

Screen where the available medications to be administered or ordered to the patient are configured. This configuration is used in the Clinical Tasks screen.


Access


Through Settings

  • From the Main Menu, press the Settings button.
  • Press the Clinical button and select the Available Medications Settings button.

Through QuickLinks

  • In the main menu, click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Select the Settings option. 
  • Press the Clinical button and then select the Available Medications Settings button. 


Sections 


Buttons

  • Export: Allows exporting the list of available medications from the office or emergency room, in Excel format.
  • Categories: Allows you to configure drug categories. 


  • Templates: Displays the Available Medications Templates screen, for the configuration of the Templates of the available medications. 


  • Add: When pressed, the Search Medications screen will be displayed for the selection of the medications that will be available. 
  • Edit: Allows editing, drugs and components. 
  • Delete: Allows to delete the selected drug.
  • Cancel: Allows to cancel any unsaved changes on the screen.
  • Save: Allows to save the changes on screen.
  • Previous: Allows to close the screen.

Offices: Allows filtering by office.


  • Medications: Column, to add medications.


  • Description: Displays the description of the medication, added as available, in the emergency room. 
  • Route: Allows you to select, from the drop-down menu, the route in which the medication will be administered to the patient.
  • Body Site: Allows you to select, from the drop-down menu, the area of the body where the medication will be administered. 
  • Is I.V.: When selected, indicates that the drug will be administered intravenously.
  • Procedure Code: Allows you to add a procedure code related to the drug. You can also delete the selected procedure code by pressing the Delete button located in that field. 
  • Category: Allows you to select from the drop-down menu, to classify the drugs by category. 
  • Medications Components: Allows you to add the components of the selected drugs.


  • Description: Displays the description of the drug, added as a component, in the emergency room. 
  • Units: Allows you to register the units of the selected drug.


Templates Screen

Screen where the Templates are created for the configured drugs.


Access


Through Settings

  • From the Main Menu, press the Settings button.
  • Press the Clinical button and select the Available Medications Settings button.
  • On the Available Medications Settings screen, press the Templates button, located at the top of the screen. 

Through QuickLinks

  • In the main menu, click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Select the Settings option. Press the Clinical button and then select the Available Medications Settings button. 
  • On the Available Medications Settings screen, press the Templates button located at the top of the screen. 


Sections 


Buttons

  • Add: Allows the creation of the Templates of the available drugs. These can be created for a single provider or for all providers by selecting the Available for all Providers checkbox.
  • Edit: Allows to edit the selected Template.

  • Delete: Allows to delete the selected Template.

  • Cancel: Allows you to cancel any unsaved changes on the screen.

  • Save: Allows you to save all changes on the screen. 

  • Previous: Allows to close the screen.

  • Templates: Field where the Templates of the available drugs are displayed. 

  • Available Medications: In this column, the available medications, previously configured, will be displayed.


  • Template Items: In this column, you can add all the medications you wish to add to the Template by pressing the button next to each medication in the Available Medication column.
