Description

Screen where the Templates to be used in the Clinical Taks screen are managed. In this screen, the available orders and procedures to be performed in the emergency room are configured, as well as the categories of clinical tasks identified in the Workflow screen, such as the priority of the visit. Similarly, it allows configuring the categories of the reason for the visit, to be used in the Reason for Visit section, when the patient arrives at the emergency room. The user will also be able to add questions as a questionnaire.


Access


Through Settings

  • In the Main Menu, press the Settings button.
  • Press the Clinical button and then select the Clinical Tasks Templates button.

Through QuickLinks

  • In the main menu, click on the QuickLinks text, located at the top of the screen. 
  • Select the Settings option. 
  • Then, click on the Clinical button and select the Clinical Tasks Templates button.


Sections


Buttons

  • Available Orders (ER): Allows you to configure the available orders to be performed in the emergency room. They can be divided by categories (these can be configured in the Settings / Clinical / Order Settings screen).


  • Available Procedures (ER): Allows you to configure the available procedures to be performed in the emergency room. They can be divided into categories. 


  • Task Categories: When pressed, it allows you to configure the categories of the patient's visit. These are used at the time of patient assignment when the patient arrives at the emergency room. 


  • Arrivals Categories: Allows you to configure the emergency room reasons for the visit. These categories are used in the Add Patient Arrivals screen to identify the reason for the patient's visit and in the Self Registration screen for the patient to select the reason for their visit. (They can also be accessed from Workflow in the Arrivals section and by pressing the Subject Settings button located at the top of the screen).



  • Add Questions: Allows you to configure the questions of the self-registration questionnaire, which will be displayed when the patient arrives at the emergency room. 


  • New: Allows to add a new Template of clinical tasks.
  • Edit: Allows to edit the selected Template.
  • Delete: Allows to delete the selected Template.
  • Cancel: Allows to cancel, any change, not saved on screen.
  • Save: Allows to save the changes on screen.
  • Previous: Allows to exit the screen.


Sections


  • Description: Allows you to configure the name or description of the Template. 
  • Provider: Allows to select the provider, to which the Template will be assigned. 
  • Notes: Allows you to write a note related to the Template to be configured. 


Quick Treatment Section


  • Available Medications: In this section, the provider will be able to select the medications available in the emergency room for the patient's treatment. The Available Medications section is already displayed by default, as it is the most commonly used (Note: The available medications are those that are configured in the Settings / Clinical / Available Medications screen).
  • Available Orders: In this section, the provider will be able to select the available orders to be placed in the emergency room for the patient's treatment. (Note: Orders are configured by pressing the Available Orders (ER) button located at the top of this screen. Or, in the Settings / Clinical / Orders screen, by pressing the Available Orders (ER) button located at the top of this screen).
  • Available Procedures: In this section, the provider will be able to select the available procedures to be performed in the emergency room for the patient's treatment. (Note: Procedures are configured by pressing the “Available Procedures (ER)” button located at the top of this screen). 


Patient Treatment


  • Medications: In this section, the medications selected for the patient's treatment are displayed, either available medications or, through Template. Similarly, the provider will be able to select any other medication that is not in the list by clicking on the Medications link. 


  • Orders: In this section, the selected orders for the patient's treatment are displayed, either by the available orders or through Templates. Similarly, the provider can select an order that is not in the list by clicking on the Orders link. 


  • Procedures: In this section, the procedures selected for the patient's treatment are displayed, either through available procedures or through Templates. Similarly, the provider can select a procedure that is not in the list by clicking on the Procedures link. 
  • General: In this section, the general instructions given to the clinical staff are displayed, either through Templates or by clicking on the General link. (For example: Putting the patient to bed). The provider may add the recurring time in which he/she wishes the instructions to be carried out. 


  • ICD Codes: In this section, the diagnosis codes are displayed, according to the patient's treatment, either through Template or by clicking on the ICD Codes” link.


Where will the information of the configured Templates be displayed?

  • These Templates will be used in the Clinical Tasks screen, in the Quick Treatment section.
