Remember to configure your SPI in the Settings / General / Staff & Providers to send electronic prescriptions. 

Fastest Option

There are several options to create a prescription ,but here is the fastest way.

• In the Advanced Progress Note screen go to the Medication List section. 
• Press the Plus button located next to the link named Medication List.
• Select the New Prescription option. 
  
  
• The Search Medication screen will be opened. 
• Select the medications you want to include in the prescription. For more information: How to select a medication from the "Search Medication" screen?
• The following screen will be displayed from the Search Medications screen.

• Press thebutton to open the section and select  the pharmacy. 

• If patient or provider selected a favorite pharmacy it will be displayed in the Provider favorites or Patient Favorites filters.
• If there are no favorite pharmacy selected by patient or provider select the Search Pharmacies option.
  
• Select pharmacy and press the Select button.

• Press Send. 
  • Note: You must add your SPI number in Settings / General / Staff & Providers if the Senf button is deactivated.  
• Press Print button. 
• Press Save button.
