There are several options to deactivate a vaccine. 


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Immunizations link, located in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Go to the History section.


  • Then select the vaccine you wish to deactivate and press the Deactivate button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:


  • Press the Ok button to deactivate the selected vaccine.
  • Press the No button to cancel the action.
  • Once the Ok button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Type the reason, why you are deactivating the vaccine.
  • Then press the Ok button.
  • You will automatically be taken to the Show Removed section.


Option #2 

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the More button, located next to the Immunizations link and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Go to the History section.


  • Then select the vaccine you wish to deactivate and press the Deactivate button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:


  • Press the Ok button to deactivate the selected vaccine.
  • Press the No button to cancel the action.
  • Once the Ok button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Type the reason, why you are deactivating the vaccine.
  • Then press the Ok button.
  • You will automatically be taken to the Show Removed section.


Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Immunizations button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Immunizations button.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Go to the History section.


  • Then select the vaccine you wish to deactivate and press the Deactivate button located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:


  • Press the Ok button to deactivate the selected vaccine.
  • Press the No button to cancel the action.
  • Once the Ok button is pressed, the following screen will be displayed:


  • Type the reason, why you are deactivating the vaccine.
  • Then press the Ok button.
  • You will automatically be taken to the Show Removed section.
