There are several options to create an order through a template.


Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Pending Orders link, located in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add New Order button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 

 

  • Press the Order Template button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Click the Add button on the Order Template you wish to send to the patient.


  • Automatically, the order will be displayed in the right column.


  • If you wish to print the order press the Print button.


  • If the orders contain diagnosis codes, which do not belong to the patient, the following message will be displayed:


  • If you wish to add the diagnosis codes to the patient, press the Yes button.
  • If you do not wish to add the procedure codes to the patient, press the No button.
  • Then, the selected order will be printed.


  • Automatically, the orders sent will be added.
  • If you do not press the Print button, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #2

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the More button, located next to the Pending Orders text, in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Open Full Page option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add New Order button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 

 

  • Press the Order Template button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Click the Add button on the Order Template you wish to send to the patient.


  • Automatically, the order will be displayed in the right column.


  • If you wish to print the order press the Print button.


  • If the orders contain diagnosis codes, which do not belong to the patient, the following message will be displayed:


  • If you wish to add the diagnosis codes to the patient, press the Yes button.
  • If you do not wish to add the procedure codes to the patient, press the No button.
  • Then, the selected order will be printed.


  • Automatically, the orders sent will be added.
  • If you do not press the Print button, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Add Order button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen and select the Add Orders option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add New Order button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 

 

  • Press the Order Template button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Click the Add button on the Order Template you wish to send to the patient.


  • Automatically, the order will be displayed in the right column.


  • If you wish to print the order press the Print button.


  • If the orders contain diagnosis codes, which do not belong to the patient, the following message will be displayed:


  • If you wish to add the diagnosis codes to the patient, press the Yes button.
  • If you do not wish to add the procedure codes to the patient, press the No button.
  • Then, the selected order will be printed.


  • Automatically, the orders sent will be added.
  • If you do not press the Print button, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #4

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the More button, located next to the Pending Orders link, in the Patient Dashboard section and select the Add Orders option. 


  • Or, press the right mouse button and select the Add Orders option.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 

 

  • Press the Order Template button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Click the Add button on the Order Template you wish to send to the patient.


  • Automatically, the order will be displayed in the right column.


  • If you wish to print the order press the Print button.


  • If the orders contain diagnosis codes, which do not belong to the patient, the following message will be displayed:


  • If you wish to add the diagnosis codes to the patient, press the Yes button.
  • If you do not wish to add the procedure codes to the patient, press the No button.
  • Then, the selected order will be printed.


  • Automatically, the orders sent will be added.
  • If you do not press the Print button, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #5

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Main Orders button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located on the left side of the screen and select the Main Orders option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Press the Add New Order button, located at the top of the screen.


  • The following screen will be displayed: 

 

  • Press the Order Template button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Click the Add button on the Order Template you wish to send to the patient.


  • Automatically, the order will be displayed in the right column.


  • If you wish to print the order press the Print button.


  • If the orders contain diagnosis codes, which do not belong to the patient, the following message will be displayed:


  • If you wish to add the diagnosis codes to the patient, press the Yes button.
  • If you do not wish to add the procedure codes to the patient, press the No button.
  • Then, the selected order will be printed.


  • Automatically, the orders sent will be added.
  • If you do not press the Print button, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.


Option #7

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Click on the Orders link located in the Clinical Evaluation section, or click on the Add button in that section. 
  • Or, click on the Add button in the Clinical Evaluation section (It must be configured in the Progress Notes Templates Settings screen). 




  • The following screen will be displayed: 

 

  • Press the Order Template button, located at the top of the screen. 


  • The following section will be displayed:


  • Click the Add button on the Order Template you wish to send to the patient.


  • Automatically, the order will be displayed in the right column.


  • If you wish to print the order press the Print button.


  • If the orders contain diagnosis codes, which do not belong to the patient, the following message will be displayed:


  • If you wish to add the diagnosis codes to the patient, press the Yes button.
  • If you do not wish to add the procedure codes to the patient, press the No button.
  • Then, the selected order will be printed.


  • Automatically, the orders sent will be added.
  • If you do not press the Print button, press the Save button located at the top of the screen.
