  • Provider prepares the lab order and prints it.

Step 3:The provider prints the order in EHRez.

  • The provider must verify that the order he prints, the following message is displayed on the printout.

**ELECTRONIC ORDER**.

  • This will be an indication, that the order was successfully sent to misResultados.

Paso 4: Patient visits laboratory.

**Paso 5: The laboratory searches for the order in misResultados, analyzes the samples and sends the results to misResultados.

Paso 6: The provider receives in EHRez, the results of misResultados.

  • The provider that was configured in Settings / General / General / e-labs, in the Notifications Users field, will be receiving a message in the Messages screen that the patient's lab results have arrived. The message will indicate the patient's name.
  • It is recommended that the provider go to the e-labs screen, which is located under Modern Main Menu or the Clinical Record / E-labs screen.
  • When the patient visits the provider again and the provider displays the Orders screen, the electronic results sent will automatically appear in the Patient Results table. These will have two asterisks in front of the test name.

  • If the order receives all the expected results, the order that was in Pending, will automatically go to Completed.

Important Note: If the order that should have automatically changed to Completed is left Pending, the provider must go to Clinical Record / e-labs and manually adjudicate it. In addition, the provider should go to where the order is located and change it to Completed. This is done by clicking on the View History link in the Orders screen.
