There are several options for reviewing laboratory results already recorded.
Option #1
- Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
- Click on the Pending Orders link in the Patient Dashboard section.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the order in the Results column, then you will see the results in the Result Components / Documents section.
- If you wish to add the result to the current encounter, right-click on the Results section and select the option Attach result to current encounter.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed:
Press the Yes button to add the result to the current meeting.
Press the No button to cancel the action.
Automatically, the results link will be displayed in the Assessment and Plan section.
- By clicking on the Received Results link, the following screen will be displayed with the results.
Option #2
- Click on the More button, located next to the Pending Orders link and select the Open Full Page option.
- Or, right-click on that section and select the Open Full Page option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the order in the Results column, then you will see the results in the Result Components / Documents section.
- If you wish to add the result to the current encounter, right-click on the Results section and select the option Attach result to current encounter.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed:
Press the Yes button to add the result to the current meeting.
Press the No button to cancel the action.
Automatically, the results link will be displayed in the Assessment and Plan section.
- By clicking on the Received Results link, the following screen will be displayed with the results.
Option #3
- Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
- Press the Main Orders button, located in the Side Bar section.
Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Main Orders option.
- The following screen will be displayed:
- Select the order in the Results column, then you will see the results in the Result Components / Documents section.
- If you wish to add the result to the current encounter, right-click on the Results section and select the option Attach result to current encounter.
- The following confirmation message will be displayed:
Press the Yes button to add the result to the current meeting.
Press the No button to cancel the action.
Automatically, the results link will be displayed in the Assessment and Plan section.
- By clicking on the Received Results link, the following screen will be displayed with the results.
