There are several options for reviewing laboratory results already recorded. 

Option #1

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen. 
  • Click on the Pending Orders link in the Patient Dashboard section.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the order in the Results column, then you will see the results in the Result Components / Documents section.


  • If you wish to add the result to the current encounter, right-click on the Results section and select the option Attach result to current encounter.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:


  • Press the Yes button to add the result to the current meeting.

  • Press the No button to cancel the action.

  • Automatically, the results link will be displayed in the Assessment and Plan section.

  • By clicking on the Received Results link, the following screen will be displayed with the results.


Option #2

  • Click on the More button, located next to the Pending Orders link and select the Open Full Page option.


  • Or, right-click on that section and select the Open Full Page option.


  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the order in the Results column, then you will see the results in the Result Components / Documents section.


  • If you wish to add the result to the current encounter, right-click on the Results section and select the option Attach result to current encounter.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:


  • Press the Yes button to add the result to the current meeting.

  • Press the No button to cancel the action.

  • Automatically, the results link will be displayed in the Assessment and Plan section.

  • By clicking on the Received Results link, the following screen will be displayed with the results.

Option #3

  • Go to the Advanced Progress Note screen.
  • Press the Main Orders button, located in the Side Bar section.


  • Or, click on the Search button located at the top left of the screen and select the Main Orders option.
  • The following screen will be displayed:


  • Select the order in the Results column, then you will see the results in the Result Components / Documents section.


  • If you wish to add the result to the current encounter, right-click on the Results section and select the option Attach result to current encounter.


  • The following confirmation message will be displayed:


  • Press the Yes button to add the result to the current meeting.

  • Press the No button to cancel the action.

    Automatically, the results link will be displayed in the Assessment and Plan section.

  • By clicking on the Received Results link, the following screen will be displayed with the results.
